  • We make scheduling easy! You can sign up online, and we’ll assign you a regular service day based on your address. Need a one-time cleanup? Just let us know — we’re flexible.

  • Yes, Gold Star Scoopers is fully insured. Your safety and peace of mind are just as important to us as a clean yard.

  • We walk your yard in a grid pattern to make sure no corner is missed. Our team is trained to spot even the hidden surprises, and we do a final scan before we leave.

  • We scoop in most weather conditions, including light rain or snow. If there’s severe weather (like thunderstorms or heavy snow), we’ll reschedule your service as soon as it's safe and notify you in advance.

  • By default, we double-bag the waste and place it in your outdoor trash bin. If you’d prefer we haul it away, we can do that for a small additional fee — just let us know your preference when signing up.

  • Nope! As long as we have access to your yard, you don’t need to be home. If you have a locked gate or dogs in the yard, we’ll work with you to make arrangements.

  • We proudly serve northern Montgomery County, MD and are expanding to nearby areas soon. Not sure if you're in our range? Enter your zip code in our quote tool or reach out — we’re happy to check for you!

  • There’s no long-term contract. You can pause or cancel your service at any time. Just let us know before the 1st of the month to make changes for the upcoming cycle. Once billed, your service will continue through the end of the current month.

  • We love dogs! If your pup is friendly and you're comfortable with it, they’re welcome to stay in the yard during service. As part of our onboarding, we ask about your dog’s behavior to help ensure everyone’s safety. If your dog is nervous, reactive, or protective, we recommend bringing them inside during our visit.

  • When you sign up, we’ll charge you for your first cleanup before we come.

    If your regular service starts the same month, we’ll also charge you a smaller amount based on how many days are left in the month. If it starts next month, you’ll be billed on the 1st. Your regular cleanups will begin after the first visit, based on the schedule you choose.

    If you select extras like deodorizing or waste haul-away, they will be included during the initial cleanup and prorated for the remainder of the month. Going forward, they’ll be billed as part of your regular monthly subscription.
